Duo Pleyel

Duo Pleyel comprises of pianists Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya and Richard Egarr. They are a dynamic duo known for their captivating performances on both historic and modern instruments.

Named after their pet 1848 Pleyel piano, Duo Pleyel started exploring a wide musical spectrum of piano four-hands repertoire back in 2016. Having released three critically acclaimed recordings on Linn Records, they have now embarked on a colossal project: Duo Pleyel will be recording and releasing all of Beethoven's Symphonies arranged by Carl Czerny for piano four-hands, to be completed in 2027 for the occasion of Beethoven's 200th death year.Their future concerts and recordings promise to delight audiences with exciting and varied musical adventures.
